Simpson [1981], 84 'Early Helladic sherds were found on the spur which juts out toward the beach, and one sherd from the main historic site, which is between the spur and the walls on top of the hill, may be from the handle of a Mycenaean kylix.'2. The main later site is between the spring and the walls on the top of the hill, where there are possible L.H. and Classical sherds.'
