NOTES

1.  Privitera says 'on the east of the promontory' of Pounta. I take him at his word.

2.  Simpson and Dickinson [1979] 206, 'F 18 Voula: Alyki' reference two chamber tomb complexes in this area, this one (C1534) and C5066. They list finds from these cemeteries (but without specifying which finds go with which) as follows (207): "Relatively large numbers of burials and vases, predominantly LH IIIA-B, were found in the tombs, but few other goods; further burials were often found in niches and pits in the dromoi. A LG vase was found in one tomb, apparently a votive; two LPG vases are also attributed to this area (CVA Heidelberg 3, Pl. 102:6, 8), said to be the site of ancient Aixone."
