1. Late Minoan IIIB: (1330 BC - 1200 BC)
a. Kanta et al. [2010]: 132, 'It (the settlement, RHC) started just before or about 1200 BC.'
b. Nowicki [2000]: 43, '...Kanta's first dating seems to be the most probable, with the remark that the foundation must have been towards the end of the LM IIIB...'
c. Kanta [1980]: 19, 'The pottery recovered seems to have been of late LM III B date.'
2. Late Minoan IIIC: (1200 BC - 1075 BC)
a. Kanta et al. [2010]: 130, 'The conservation and study of pottery from the 2006 and 2007 excavations confirmed that an early LMIIIC date seems appropriate.'
b. Nowicki [2000]: 43, '...the site certainly continued through early LM IIIC.'
c. Kanta [2003]: 180, ..., the site of Kastrokephala was first occupied in a very early LM III C stage when the pottery still had a strong LM III B flavour.

1. The marker rests on that group of structures which Nowicki [2000] 42 calls 'Group B'. Group A is at 35.339259° N, 25.031607° E. This is about 150 m. distant from Group B on a bearing (A to B) of 258°.
