1. Neither Ålin nor Simpson quite understand the geography. Ålin has it as 'southeast of Drachmani' (Elateia) which it isn't and Simpson says "One or more sherds were found during the excavations at the site of the Temple of Athena Kranaia at ancient Elateia" but ancient Elateia and the Temple of Athena Kranaia are nearly 3 km. distant from one another.
