1.    Lithics.   Simpson [1981], 79    '...on the eroded slopes outside the walls ... and obsidian chips were found in 1959.'
2.    Lithics.   Simpson and Dickinson [1979], 259    'On the eroded slope outside the walls some BA sherds, including EH I and LH IIIB, and obsidian chips were found; but C and H predominate elsewhere.'

- Simpson [1981]  p. 78,  Size: 30000 sq. m.  The evidence for Myc. occupation is slender but Simpson supposed that it was, perhaps, inhabited in Myc. times.

- Simpson [1965]  p. 135,  Size: 30000 sq. m.  ' ..., enclosing an area about 200 metres north-east to south-west by 150 metres.'

1. The site marked is definitely Hyampolis. Which 'eroded slopes' Simpson was referring to is harder to tell.
