NOTES

1. This marker, about 1 km. S. of Ambelaki, stands for finds at Limnionas and at Kamini ('close by'). The Limnionas find is an intact chamber tomb and the Kamini find is a tholos tomb (which Simpson thought might also be a chamber tomb). For the Limnionas find see esp. Archaeological Reports (10) 5, 1963-4. For the Kamini find see Archaeological Reports (7) 7, 1961-2. Simpson remarks that other small finds have been found in this area although not published and these point, as he says, to a Mycenaean settlement in this area.

2. Placed notionally about one kilometer to the south of Ambelaki. See Simpson [1981], p. 47, par. 'B 17 Salamis: Ambelakia'.
