1.    Palace.   Symeonoglou [1985], 214    'His (i.e., Keramopoullos, rhc) excavations uncovered a major portion of a Mycenaean palace.'

1. EH III: (2200 BC - 2000 BC)
    a.    Symeonoglou [1985]: 214, 'They (ceramics, RHC) date to EH III, which may be the earliest period of the site.'

2. Middle Helladic: (2000 BC - 1600 BC)
    a.    Symeonoglou [1985]: 214, '...as revealed by the typical Middle Helladic construction using small, undressed stones ...'

3. Late Helladic II: (1635 BC - 1410 BC)
    a.    Symeonoglou [1985]: 48, 'Keramopoullos ... suggested a date of LH II for the construction of the first palace on the basis of pottery found...', 'Evidence from the cemeteries confirms the fact that Thebes was prosperous in LH II, making the existence of a palace during that time very plausible.'
