Kirsten ... concludes that these finds imply a settlement of the early first millenium B.C. and 'sub-Mycenaean' penetration of the forest land.'

1. The mark has been placed on the hill on which Kamari sits. Dr. Alex Knodell (private communication) prefers the neighboring hill to the E at 38.46464294 N, 23.77022183 E. According to Merkouri and Kouli [2012], 217, no. 60, it is at 300 m. elevation. Fachard [2012] 303 says ' ... aujourd'hui disparu.'
