NOTE

1. When Simpson [1981] 177, 'K 5', refers to a 'trial excavation between the Asprochaliko cave and the lake shore' it is this cave that he means. I have placed the marker at a spot indicated in Topoguide. Simpson calls the cave here 'Asprochaliko'. This is an extremely rare slip on Dr. Simpson's part. The well known Asprochaliko (a neolithic site) is about 40 km. to the south at F3465.
