1.    hab.   Simpson [1981], 85    '..along the whole of a low ridge about 800 m. southeast of Thanas. Abundant evidence of Mycenaean habitation is recorded.'

NOTE

1. Howell describes a line of telegraph poles running across the ridge. An inspection in Google Street View of images from October 2011 suggests that those poles no longer exist. Currently a line of telephone poles runs along the road but not over the ridge. On the other side (NW) of the ridge and parallel to it runs a line of pylons (F4413) bearing high tension wires.
