PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. Late Minoan III: (1420 BC - 1075 BC)
a. Dawkins [1913]: 14, 'These chest-larnakes apparently occur all through the Late Minoan III period, ...'
2. Late Minoan IIIA: (1420 BC - 1330 BC)
a. Kanta [1980]: 121, 'Those (larnakes, RHC) which are datable can be ascribed to LM III A ...; but this does not necessarily mean that the Plati sarcophagus belongs to this period.'
NOTE
1. The tomb was dated by Dawkins from the chest larnax found within. Kanta suggests that the date of the tomb must remain open (121).
