NOTE

1. I have followed Papadopoulos [1978] 14, Fig. 19 in placing this site. In his previous volume on Achaea, Papadopoulos [1979] 30, '33. Drakotrypa' he gives the position as ' ... 20 minutes walk east of Katarraktis ... '. The position adopted here would require a stiffish 2 mile walk which could hardly be accomplished in less than 30 minutes but it accords better with his map. An alternative position on the hill at 38.097482° 21.854001° which is a little closer to Katarraktis must be given serious consideration.
