NOTE

1.  A very interesting site characterized by a large number of discrete stony deposits which might average 10 m. in their longest dimension. The church of Ayios Phanourios is at F4057. Hood et al. [1962] in fig. 5 on p. 57 put their sherd finds just north and south of the church (which I'm sure is valid); but I placed the mark about 136 m. S of the church in order to draw attention to these stony deposits. These deposits look very much like the remains of habitations. And Hood et al. say (57) 'Scattered traces of occupation, with sherds and stones from buildings, continue down the slope of the ridge for about 200 m. west of the church.'
