1. Kanta [1980] 234 has introduced some ambiguity when she mentions 'this village'. There is no village of Timios Stavros; the village in question is Vryses. The church of Timios Stavros is east of the village and my suggested position corresponds in all other respects to the locational information. Faure [1958] 499 says 'A côté de la chapelle de Timios Stavros ...'. Hood [1965] 106, just says '...east of the village.'
