TYPE

1.    Building.   Simpson [1981], 156    '... only a few Mycenaean sherds were found, together with coarse ware also presumably Mycenaean.'
2.    hab.   Souyoudzoglou-Haywood [1999], 39    'Marinatos excavated the foundations of Mycenaean houses. Most of the walls were in a poor state of preservation due to erosion and cultivation, but one building was reasonably well preserved. Marinatos was able to excavate three of its walls up to the border with a neighbouring field.'
3.    hab.   BCH Online, 430    'At Krania (sector E), ca. 350m S of the chamber tombs at Diakata, high sherd densities led to the identification of the 'lost' site of Starochorafa, where S. Marinatos excavated part of a Myc house.'

    b.    Souyoudzoglou-Haywood [1999]: 39, 'The absence of early pottery shapes, or pottery with diagnostic pre-LH IIIC features, suggests an LH IIIC date.'
