NOTES

1. Eaby [2007] 72 continues: 'This cave may have been used as both a burial site and place of refuge, though EIA burial activity has not been confirmed.'

2. Faure's directions to the site don't entirely cohere. I have placed this notionally 500 m directly N of the Peristeras cave (F4482) whose position is known. Faure describes the Peristera cave as 500 m. to the south of the Kataphygi cave.
