2.  The Topostext site places ancient Sauria down the slope about 200 m. to the E and closer to the river.

3.  The discoverer, E. Mastrokostas, did not describe the finds and so Pelon ventures no dating. Pelon gives this reference: AD 22, 1967, II, p. 322-323.
