1.    Artifacts.   Tanasi [2006], 53    'Other isolated cases of Mycenaean features can also be found in the Agrigentine hinterland, such as the golden rings of Anguilla di Ribera (Panvini 1986, 114).'
2.    Artifacts.   Panvini di Stefano [1984], 114    ' ...: voglio innanzitutto ricordare due anelli d'oro trovati presso il letto funebre della tholos 15: uno e una semplice vera, l'altro una serpentina.'

NOTE

1. In support of his statement about the mycenaean connection to some golden rings found at this site Dr. Tanasi refers to R. Panvini di-Stefano's article from 1984 on the necropolis of Anguilla. But Panvini di-Stefano, while mentioning the rings, does not (by my reading) try to associate them to Mycenaean origins. She does point out some Mycenizing tendencies at Anguilla but this mainly refers to the relieving triangle over the door to tomb 6.
