1. Shipwreck. Galili et al. [1986], 35 'The ship ..., caught in the storm, could not reach a haven and sank close to the coast.'PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. Late Bronze Age: (1570 BC - 1200 BC)
a. Galili et al. [1986]: 32, 'The dating was challenged by G. Bass (1967) who showed that these ingots can be found from the mid 15th to the 12th century BC in the eastern Mediterranean.'
2. Late Bronze IIA: (1400 BC - 1300 BC)
a. Galili et al. [1986]: 32, ? 'The copper ingot weighing 16.5 kg, is of the oxhide type 2a which was dated by Buchholz to the 14th century BC ... '
NOTES
1. The copper consisted of a copper oxhide ingot and tin ingots as well as four stone anchors.
