Furtwängler [1886] 32: "Im Kunsthandel sah ich (F.) zu Athen 1878 eine flache Schüssel von grober Erde, dunkelbraunschwarzer Farbe und ebensolcher Politur; auf der Aufsenseite des Randes wie der Bodenfläche waren gedrückte Spiralen wie Myk. Thongef. Taf. I, 6 eingravirt. Das Gefäß gehört zu den besonders in Mykenae und Orchomenos constatirten schwarzen Vasen des besprochenen Culturkreises."
