1.    Mound.   Simpson and Dickinson [1979], 280    'A fairly small mound on the S side of the Volos-Larissa road, c. 3 km. SE of Platikambos.'
2.    Sherds.   Simpson and Dickinson [1979], 280    'There are N, EB I, and MH sherds from here in the BSA.'

NOTE

1. There are a number of mounds in this area. This one is the right distance from Platikambos and more or less the right direction. Simpson and Dickinson's description specifies that Kavakia is about 3 km. from Platykambos and SE of the town.

I have taken the coordinates from the site Digitizing Early Farming Cultures or DEFC The DEFC site places a mound here which it calls 'Platykampos 3'
