1.  Page numbers in Renfrew [2011] are, in actuality, location numbers in the Kindle electronic edition, ISBN 978-1-78570-773-5. This is also true of Marthari et al. (eds.) [2017] (ISBN: 978-1-78570-196-2).

2.  The position of Pherendaki is, perhaps, not now recoverable.  Using Renfrew's [2011] offsets from Avdheli (Kindle location 11370, MAP: C7150) and Apollonos (Kindle location 11370, MAP: C7149) brings us to approximately 37.145315° N, 25.527563° E.  Starting at that position and drawing a circle with radius of 171 m. touches both these positions.  This compromise position has the virtue of agreeing with Wong [2020] Figure 1.  Nonetheless this position is not reliable and requires further research.  Marthari et al. (eds.) [2017] at Kindle location 8944 says "Pherendaki is one of the few sites on the north of the island, located inland and close to mount Zas ... "  This is in clear contradiction to Dr. Renfrew's presented distances because Mt. Zas is in the south of the island about 13 km. distant.
