PERIOD (High Chronology)

1. Late Minoan III: (1420 BC - 1075 BC)
    a.    Seager [1906]: , ' ... to which this tomb belongs, viz., the very end of the Late Minoan III period ... ',' ... there were traces of the conventionalized octopus design, so common on Late Minoan III larnakes.'

2. Late Minoan IIIB: (1330 BC - 1200 BC)
    a.    Syriopoulos [1983]: 111, '...Late Minoan III B - C tholos burial ...'

3. Late Minoan IIIB2: (1250 BC - 1200 BC)
    a.    Pelon [1976]: 261, 'Furumark a daté la tombe d'Agios Théodoros du MR IIIB 2.'

4. Late Minoan IIIC: (1200 BC - 1075 BC)
    a.    Syriopoulos [1983]: 111, '...Late Minoan III B - C tholos burial ...'
    b.    Eaby [2007]: 63, '..., and a bronze dagger, probably dating to LM IIIC, ...'
    c.    Kanta [1980]: 146, 'To judge by the stirrup jar and kalathos which were illustrated the tomb was LH IIIC in date.'

5. Protogeometric: (1100 BC - 900 BC)
    a.    Eaby [2007]: 63, '...most likely associated with the LM IIIC (and possibly PG) settlement on the summit of Kephala Hill' that is C5088.

6. Subminoan: (1060 BC - 900 BC)
    a.    Eaby [2007]: 63, '..., though possibly also to SM.'

NOTE

1.  With respect to the position of this tholos we only have Seager's [1906 129] report that it was on ' ... a fertile hillside above the Kephala' and in the neighborhood of Hagios Theodoros.  I can find neither local area nor church with the toponym 'Hagios Theodoros'.  Eaby [2007] 62 says that this tholos is now lost and that it was on the south slope of Kephala hill although I do not know on what authority.  This, of course, contradicts Seager.  Nonetheless, and lacking any better idea, I have placed the marker on the S slope of Kephala.
