TYPE
1. Sherds. Broneer [1966], 351 ' ... the sherds found on the surface are mostly small pieces of undatable coarse fabrics.'2. Sherds. Morgan [1999], 443 '1 LH IIIB krater body sherd with accumbent semicircle.'
3. Wall. Broneer [1966], 351 'One continuous stretch (of wall, rhc), Pe (Fig. 2, 3; P1. 81), in the property of Sotiris Peras, measures 45.50 m. in length.'
PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. Late Helladic: (1700 BC - 1050 BC)
a. Broneer [1966]: 351, 'Two undecorated pieces might be Mycenaean.'
b. Morgan [1999]: 443, ' ... with only two possible undecorated Mycenaean fragments.'
2. LH IIIB: (1320 BC - 1190 BC)
a. Morgan [1999]: 443, '1 LH IIIB krater body sherd with accumbent semicircle.'
NOTES
1. See the important discussion of this wall, its construction method, and purposes which appears in Simpson and Hagel [2006] 124-140.
2. This stretch was preserved for about 45 m. Along its course there were four projections thought to be 'towers' but which project so little from the wall that they might actually be buttresses. This part of the wall averaged 3.6 to 4.0 m. in width. For more see Morgan [1999] 442-3.
3. The position was established from the map in Frey and Gregory [2016] 438, Figure 1. The position shown there was confirmed from aerial photographs.
