TYPE

1.    Pottery.   Broneer [1968], 27    'The pottery from the trenches divides itself into two lots: a) the sherds found in the earth above the preserved height of the wall and along the two faces, and b) the pottery from the fill between the faces of the wall.'

3. LH IIIC: (1190 BC - 1060 BC)

NOTES

1. The south-easterly most fragment of the two parts of Ge can be seen in Google Street View from 37.915094° N, 22.993294° E and looking NW on an azimuth of 318°. The fragment is right at the edge of the road. It corresponds to Morgan [1999] 445, Fig. 12 but seen from the other direction. The second fragment, (Morgan [1999], Fig. 11) which is in line and just a few meters to the NW, seems now (5/2023) to be buried.
