TYPE
1. Tholos. Simpson [1981], 19 '... a tholos tomb, the largest (diameter 9.5 m.) in the Argolid outside Mycenae.'2. Tholos. Pelon [1976], 176 'La tholos de l'Héraion d'Argos est située à 1 km à l'Ouest du santuaire ...' In fact, it is 539 m. and exactly (315 degrees) NW from the NW corner of the Heraion.
PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. Late Helladic II: (1635 BC - 1410 BC)
a. Pelon [1976]: 177, '...est datée par Wace de l'HR II d'après des fragments céramiques qu'il compare à des vases des tholoi de Kakovatos.'
2. LH IIA: (1635 BC - 1470 BC)
a. Simpson [1981]: 19, 'The small amount of pottery found in the tomb all seems to be of the LH IIA period.'
