TYPE

1.    Dam.   Balcer [1974], 146    'Consequently, at some time in the Late Helladic period the Mycenaeans of Tiryns constructed a massive earth barrier, or more exactly a protective dam or dike supported by two walls of Mycenaean masonry, ... '
