TYPE

1.    Settlement.   Simpson [1981], 21    'On level ground surrounding the Citadel, widespread Early and Middle Helladic remains were found. In Mycenaean times the inhabited area extended to north of the Citadel, an area apparently not occupied previously.'

1. LH IIIB: (1320 BC - 1190 BC)
    a.    Simpson [1981]: 21, '...both the Citadel of Tiryns and the "town" around it appear to have attained their fullest extent and density of habitation in the LH IIIB period.'

2. LH IIIC: (1190 BC - 1060 BC)
    a.    Simpson [1981]: 21, ...at least and probably other Mycenaean ceramic horizons
