1. Middle Helladic: (2000 BC - 1600 BC)
a. Dickinson [1983]: 61, Dr. Dickinson does not provide a specific date for Pitsa. He regards these cist/pit tombs as survivals and characteristic of a transitional period. 'Tumuli containing pit-burials even seem to have been established at the time of the MH-LH transition.'
2. Late Helladic I: (1700 BC - 1635 BC)
a. Simpson [1981]: 37, ' ... an unpublished LH I tomb group in the Corinth Museum from the vicinity of Pitsa.'
b. Dickinson [1983]: 61, Dr. Dickinson does not provide a specific date for Pitsa. He regards these cist/pit tombs as survivals and characteristic of a transitional period. 'Tumuli containing pit-burials even seem to have been established at the time of the MH-LH transition.'
3. LH IIB: (1470 BC - 1410 BC)
